NEAT SWEEP® - New Concept in Dispersant Application

Neat Sweep® collects a broad swath of oil, funneling the slick into a narrow band where dispersant is applied at full concentration. Neat Sweep® is the most efficient dispersant application system available.
·Dispersant is applied 'Neat' (undiluted) for maximum efficiency.
·Concentrates oil into a narrow band of uniform thickness.
·Personnel has virtually no exposure to air borne dispersant mist.
·Ideal for use with vessels of opportunity.

ADVANTAGES
·Allows the 'neat' (full concentration) application of dispersant directly on the oil. This reduces the amount of dispersant that is wasted through evaporation and mis-targeting that happens with other application methods.
·Concentrates a broad swath of oil slicks, varying in thickness, to a band of oil, uniform in thickness. Reduces overdosing and under dosing.
·NeatSweep® allows very high payloads, since dispersant is carried on towing vessels.
·Dispersant is applied hundreds of feet downwind from people and equipment, greatly reducing the risk of exposure.
·Using NeatSweep® reduces the dependence on multiple aircraft, making air operations safer.
·Sensors control dispersant application and provide monitoring of important data related to application parameters.
